SPM-010 Sump Pump Monitor / Control Unit
SPM-010 is a Bluetooth Low Energy Monitor/Control Unit (device). The SPM-010 communicates with smartphone or tablets. This combination forms the SPM-010 Monitor / Control System (SPM-010 or system). The system constantly informs home owner about sump water level, power condition of sump pump and temperature near the sump. Also, system provides efficient control of sump pump and messaging service in critical conditions.
The advantages of SPM-010 are:
- Automatically switching to cellular network from WiFi in case of internet outage or WiFi failure
- Indication of the actual water level, power status and temperature at any given time
- Effective pump control depending on the actual water level
- Ability to operate in case of power outage
SPM-010 unit monitors critical parameters of the home such as sump pump power loss, sump “True” Water level (with adjustable alarm level), air temperature device operational status and device battery charging status. All these parameters are visible on smartphone or tablet at any time (see Figure 1 as normal operation example screen). SPM-010 has internal rechargeable battery, produces audio alarm and can operate independently from smartphone or tablet.
Sump Pump control function is optional and requires to use SSR-CU module.
System Functions
- Operate with any of two water level sensor types (Resistive - 33 Ohms to 240 Ohms sensor or WS-010 Wire Level Sensor)
- Measure and display real water level
- Measure and display Sump Pump power presence and status
- Measure and display air temperature
- Pump control through SSR-CU device (or similar)
- Produce visual and sound alarm in case if water level exceeds maximum level (adjustable water level threshold)
- Operate on iOS-based smartphone and Tablets
- Adjust water level threshold from Smartphone or Tablet devices
- SPM-010 can operate independently from Smartphone or Tablets
- Send SMS alarm messages from iOS Smartphone or Tablet
- Include internal Li ION 3.6V rechargeable battery (provides ability to operate without external power)
